Day 2: Viva Espana! (Part 2)

The feverish beast! The newly fixed engine was pushed to the limit by the endless hills of Basque countryside. We had to pull over and give the car a bit of T.L.C. She loved that and ran smoothly the rest of the way but just in case we booked her an appointment to see a specialist in Casablanca.

Mo accidently drank anti-freeze from the car radiator... (Reason? Dont ask)

The ingenuity of Spanish toilets... Pull two wires and way "they" go!

After having crossed Spain from the north-most point to the south-most point in 13hrs we arrived in Algeciras, we all gathered in very "smokey" No-Name bar. Everybody is absolutely knackered, However, spirits are still flying high!

Having rested 30min at the bar we boarded the 5am ferry to Tanger. Team Mirage going for it alone...!!!! To take the Beast to see "the specialist".

Summary: A very eventful day with fantastic landscape constantly flashing by.

Goodnight Sahara4x Followers, whereever you are

  1. Love the photos. Thanks for posting. I wish Gus was doing such a good job of documenting. I know he didn't take the camera as I wanted to keep it to take photos of our new baby but if you get the chance to snap a few of him and his car, I'd really appreciate it.
Good luck to you and glad the overheating is not a huge problem; anything better than the already dead red Hilux ;o)
Good luck. I'll keep reading your blogs.
